Tobacco beetles are flying insects, often found indoors such as in food, drug and tobacco factories and warehouses. They cause harm to grains and to processed foods. Japanese Brand NEW SERRICO was the first pheromone trap for monitoring to be produced by FUJI FLAVOR. Its performance and demonstrated effectiveness have won worldwide acclaim.

Scientific Name : Lasioderma serricorne
Adults are 2 to 3 mm long and are reddish brown to dark brown. The adults and larvae infest flour, spices, dried pet food, confectioneries, Chinese medicine, dried bonito, hay, straw, tobacco, cigar, and other products. Females lay from 50 to 100 eggs. They develop into adults in 40 to 50 days at 30oC and life span is 11 to 20 days.

Setup

Assembling The Trap
(A) Fold the trap along with the crease and peel off the protective paper from the glue surface.

* For the use in dusty are, fold up side flaps
(B) Take out one lure from sliver and gold packages and set them on the glue surface.
(C) Insert A into B for use.

Placement
(A) Location: Place traps on the wall 1.5m above the floor.
(B) Intervals: 5 to 10m interval is recommended.

* Avoid placing the traps near machinery or production lines, as they may attract insects to these places;
** Placing traps near building entrances may attract insects inside. Place them 10m to 20m away from entrances and exits.

Replacement
Replace the traps and lures after one month of use.

* The product has a shelf life of one year after manufacturing;
** Store at room temperature in a dark location, avoiding direct sunlight;
*** For quality purposes, do not store in a refrigerator or at temperature above 40oC
